Love is.........

50 years ago two people celebrated their love for one another and were married January 28, 1962.

And on January 28, 2012,  in their church, hundreds of family and friends gathered to help them celebrate
  50 years of marriage.

It was an incredible evening..... they renewed their vows, they danced, there was some wonderful surprise guests,  there were some great stories told and there were performances and talented gifts given by family members and even video clips of those who couldn't be there in person.  It was an amazing evening filled with a lot of love and family - and I would say friends, but at one point in the evening it was clear that we were all family.

Their dance and cutting the cake

Are you ready for this next picture?....I am not sure you are.......It is really awesome!.....
Their original Matron of Honor and Best Man stood up with them again 50 years later!
How great is that???

The Wedding Party - 50 years later!

Their family worked so hard to pull off an incredible evening.  So I had to include this picture and little shout out to the gang that worked hard for many, many, many months to pull off a flawless evening of fun and family memories that will never be forgotten.  Awesome job, guys!!!

There are many more pictures of  Grand kids, Great -Grand kids, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, friends that are now family.....etc.  This is just little sneak peak of an evening that has touched my heart and I will remember for the rest of my life.  Love you all! Thanks for letting me be a part of this wonderful evening.

Family Time - Merry Christmas and Happy 2012!

Merry Christmas from Our House to Yours!
As many pictures that I take of other families, I don't do as good of a job of frequently getting pictures of my own family.   That is probably another one to add to my list of resolutions for the new year.  Here is a picture of my kids (yes, even my 4 legged, furry kid - the biggest baby of all)
Hope you are enjoying your Christmas day with your family.  I am loving every minute.  We have hung out, played with our Christmas toys, baked, will watch a movie later and I am still in my pajamas!!
Merry Christmas
and
looking forward to helping you capture your 2012 memories!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas with your family.  From our house to yours.

Thanks Boys!!! - Sneak Peak Photo Session

Thanks Boys for being such great sports.  There is nothing more precious to a Mom than a picture of her boys (ALL her boys).  You guys did such a great job getting your pictures taken today. This turned out great!  I love taking pictures of these boys.  We had a perfect weather day to get in a few family shots.  I just wanted to get one on the Blog for Mom to see what a great job her boys did getting their pictures taken.

Fall Family Pictures

I love taking family pictures in the fall.  The colors are so great.  I had so much fun with this family taking their pictures.  You can't tell but our biggest challenge was dodging the bike riders, walkers, and runners as we tried to capture these family shots. I know they look like they popped of the pages of a magazine. - so wonderfully color coordinated and I didn't have to work hard at all to get great poses and smile - a family of naturals in front of the camera.  But the best part is they are such great friends of mine and love being with them - we just had a great shoot with some fun great pictures for the holidays.  Happy Holidays!

Trucks & Dirt, shades of Blue - little boys are angels, even at 2

I met up with this little boy and his family to take his "2" year old pictures.  And he is a little angel - he made me smile and melted my heart the minute I met him.  I loved spending my morning with him.  He is 100 % boy and I love it!!!!  I don't even know how many rocks he collected today and had to have his chapstick in his pocket like his daddy.  But I to add a few pictures with him and his Mom, because that boy loves his momma!!  He has such a fun personality (but don't worry, he did throw in a couple of 2 year old "no's", so he is normal) - he is so much fun!  Thanks for a fun day!!!!

I know - Isn't he the cutest thing with that jacket and his shades!!!

Beautiful blue eyes and dimples in his cheeks when he smiles that will kill the ladies one day!

There is nothing like a mother's love!
What a GREAT age!!!  Thanks for letting me capture such a wonderful time in his life. The two's will test your patience, but love and cherish every minute of it.
